Job description

Solar PV Park Site Assessment Manager, Greece, €50,000

My client is a leading renewable energy power company. They are looking for a Solar Photovoltaic Site Assessment Manager based in Greece to help them source and develop solar PV parks.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Sourcing, analyzing and acquiring suitable sites for development of commercial solar PV parks * Entering the permitting process, procuring engineering and technical specialists to produce relevant documentation * Making decisions about the suitability of potential solar PV developments based upon potential capacity of the plant, distance from grid connection etc * Targeting sites that will allow for development of larger projects from 2MW upwards

Skills and qualifications required:

* You must be fluent in Greek * You must have a minimum Batchelor\‘s degree in Renewable Energy Engineering or a similar discipline * Excellent contacts and network in the Solar PV space in Greece * Experience of procurement and origination * Detailed technical understanding of solar photovoltaic technologies eg. thin film, silicon etc
